Theresa Meade

Professional Angler, Licensed Guide, WWA Regional Director

Having always been an avid outdoor enthusiast, I spend every opportunity encouraging children and families to discover fishing.  I look forward to every event, knowing my knowledge and experience will help promote a future generation of families who fish together.

Eleven years ago, I began fishing in walleye tournaments. I’ve fished the Chain Walleye Series (CWS), the World Walleye Association (WWA), Cabela’s National Team Championship (NTC), the Professional Walleye Trail (PWT) and, most recently, the Anglers Insight Marketing (AIM). In that time, I’ve won Team of the Year, qualified for seven championships, 4 first places and twelve top ten finishes and 4 Cabela’s National Team Championships. In 2007, I accepted the position of Regional Director and Coordinator for the World Walleye Association. (WWA) (www.worldwalleye.com) I run and oversee daily operations, building of new tournaments and expanding the series. My WWA duties include announcer which puts me on stage in front of thousands of potential customers every year. At every opportunity, I conduct seminars and tournaments, attend and speak at shows, children events and Clubs. I participate in as many youth functions and events as possible throughout the year. I began the Chain of Lakes Youth Fishing event in 2007 which has grown to a full field of 75 participants with hundreds of supporters and family members attending. With help by sponsors and volunteers, this Youth Day event has become a huge success across a 5 county region.
